Our adventure began on the shores of Bali as we embarked on a boat journey to Nusa Penida. Anticipation heightened as we sailed across the azure waters. Upon reaching Nusa Penida, clear directions from the Villa manager awaited us, a one hour drive away from the port. Opting for a scooter rental, we eagerly anticipated the freedom to explore the island at our own pace.
Navigating the winding roads of Nusa Penida on our rented scooter was an adventure in itself. The island, known for its rugged landscapes, offered sweeping views of cliffs, pristine beaches, and lush jungles. The scooter ride added an extra layer of thrill to our journey, perfect for adventurous souls like us. For those not comfortable with challenging roads, the resort recommended a taxi service, ensuring comfortable access for everyone.

Arriving at Tropical Glamping Nusa Penida, we were warmly welcomed by the friendly staff, ready to assist us after our journey. They offered fresh coconuts and explained to us the in room dining system. Our luxurious Bungalow, nestled within tropical greenery, awaited us, blending comfort seamlessly with nature.
Best Hammock in the world!!
As we went through the bungalow to the terrace, there we had it, the best hammock in the world. The reason people come to stay here, and I can tell you it’s worth every penny, and more. It was simply amazing and breathtaking. We enjoyed every moment of it, from sunrise to sunset. Dont miss out on Tropical Glamping Nusa Penida.
Each morning, we savored amazing views from our private deck, accompanied by the soothing sounds of the jungle and distant waves crashing against the shore, setting the tone for each day of our romantic escape. Some days we even saw Manta rays cruising the waters below.
Luxury Bungalow at Tropical Glamping Nusa Penida
Even though it is a bungalow. It is very big and beautifully designed and decorated. You can feel the love and energy that was invested in every single item in the room. I have traveled most of SouthEast Asia, and by far this is the most beautiful bungalow I have ever seen. Also the bathroom is stunning with panoramic views of the ocean and cliffs of Tropical Glamping Nusa Penida. Around the bungalow is a beautiful garden and an outdoor shower. The area is private and secluded. You only have one neighbour. Which is the other Bungalow they have. Also beautiful, but this is the star.
Dinners Under the Stars
Evenings were a culinary journey at Tropical Glamping Nusa Penida, where candlelit dinners under the celestial sky turned our terrace dining experiences into a celestial affair, every bite savored under the enchanting glow of starlight.
Sunset Strolls on the Beach
Tropical Glampings proximity to the beach allowed enchanting sunset strolls along the shoreline. The rhythmic sound of the waves became our companion as we etched our footprints into the soft sand, creating memories against the backdrop of the sun dipping below the horizon. Diamond beach is just around the corner. So you can go early or late to avoid the crowds.
Other places to see on Nusa Penida
Honestly we spent most of our time at Tropical Glamping Nusa Penida, but we also explored. You can miss Kelingking Beach, Angel’s Billabong, Broken Beach, and Diamond Beach. There are still many more points to see that we missed, but if you try and cram all in at once, you won’t really enjoy it and it will feel hectic. Best pick a couple and really enjoy the place’s beauty. We will be back for sure what we missed.
